Who is responsible

Thomas Rompf, operating as Rompf University Prep & Academic Coaching in Cali, Colombia, is responsible for personal information provided through this website or during an inquiry. Privacy questions, corrections, or deletion requests may be sent to tom@rompf.org.

What may be collected

An inquiry may include your name, email address, role, the student’s grade or level, the service requested, deadlines, city or time zone, how you heard about the practice, and the short message you choose to provide. Later coaching may involve drafts, written feedback, scheduling, payment records, and communications needed to provide the agreed service.

Please do not send school identification numbers, financial account details, medical information, or other sensitive personal information. Do not attach full student work to the first inquiry.

How the information is used

• To answer an inquiry and determine whether the requested service is a good fit
• To arrange and provide coaching
• To manage scheduling, payment, and necessary client communication
• To protect the website and prevent spam or misuse

Personal information is not sold. It is not used for unrelated marketing without separate permission.

Consent and information about minors

Submitting the inquiry form requires an affirmative acknowledgement of this notice and authorization to use the information for the stated purposes. If the student is under eighteen, a parent or guardian should be involved before coaching services begin.

Services used to communicate

The inquiry form sends the information you provide to tom@rompf.org through a secure form handler hosted at forms.rompf.org. The inquiry is delivered by email and is not stored in a separate website database. If you contact through WhatsApp or LinkedIn, those companies process information under their own privacy terms. The site and email hosts may process limited technical information necessary to deliver and protect the website and its messages.

Nonessential analytics are not currently active. If analytics or advertising tools are added, this notice and any required consent choices will be updated before they are used.

Retention and your choices

Inquiry and client information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the inquiry, provide the service, maintain essential business records, or meet a legal obligation. You may ask what information is held about you and request correction, updating, or deletion, subject to records that must lawfully be retained.

Legal framework

This notice is intended to reflect Colombia’s Law 1581 of 2012 and its implementing rules. Other privacy requirements may apply depending on where a client lives and the information involved.
